Trish Peng 'A Day in New York'

By Lance O'Grady

The Trish Peng Fashion show ‘A Day in New York’ was inspired by the NZ designer’s time spent in New York. The evening was held in the showroom of Giltrap Prestige Porche, creating an atmosphere of class that the range lives up to. The show was hosted by Steven Fernandez Media who did a fantastic job in ensuring the night ran smoothly.

Attendance was excellent despite the weather being not so inviting. A well covered bar with drinks from Sapporo and Red Bull kept the many guests entertained and happy before and after the show.

Trish showed a strong collection of mixed day and evening wear, providing a variety of fun and elegant dresses. The colours were stand out. Ranging from summery oranges and blues for the daywear collection to rich reds, purples and intricately beaded fabrics for the evening gowns. The Vanity Walk models looked beautiful in Trish Peng's collection with hair by French Revolver Salon, Jewellery by Veronica B and Shoes by Andrea Biani.

Custom is a key word for the Trish Peng brand, which made the coinciding launch of her new website by Pocket Square very exciting. On her new website customers are able to order a made to measure dress from anywhere using the Trish Peng ‘Made to Measure Kit’.

The night was enjoyable for everyone. We can't wait to see what Trish does next!
