From inception to mastery.

Pocket Square is the outcome of two eCommerce specialists, a few too many drinks and a big idea.

In 2012, Ryan, (with roots in System Accounting and Operations in eCommerce agencies) and Lance (a history of working in-house for retailers and on market, SEO and front-end for agencies) saw a gap in the market.

There was a real need for a New Zealand-based agency to support the fashion industry - designers and retailers - to build eCommerce websites that were both highly functional from a technical perspective, and visually outstanding in terms of design and UX.

No one had yet mastered the art of combining technical expertise with an eye for design.

Fast-forward two years; Pocket Square had worked with some of the biggest names in the industry including Superette, Kate Sylvester, Stolen Girlfriends Club & Juliette Hogan.

Pocket Square tapped into something retailers hadn’t yet experienced from an agency: the importance of communicating the brand story throughout the shopping experience, balancing form and function.

As more and more retailers became aware of Pocket Square, the team began to scale, bringing on board an unfair share of the best talent, scaling rapidly and building some of the most known and high-performing eCommerce sites in Australasia.

12 years later, this brings us to where we are today - An experienced team of eCommerce specialists, pushing the envelope for our clients.
